Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER COFFEE TO?
We deliver within the UK only.

WHAT ARE YOUR POST & PACKING CHARGES FOR SENDING COFFEE?
Small orders (one 200g bag of coffee) can be sent using 1st or 2nd class mail.

2nd Class - £3.50
1st Class - £4.50

Larger orders (more than one small bag) always use a tracked service: either Tracked 24 or Tracked 48.

Tracked 48- £3.95
Tracked 24 - £4.75

We tend to find the cheaper 2nd class and Tracked 48 services work very quickly and efficently, so we default to these options but you can make your own choice at checkout.

HOW LONG WILL MY COFFEE TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We pack orders on most weekdays and drop them at the Post Office ASAP.
2nd Class & Tracked 48 services typically arrive 2-3 days after posting, although we find they are frequently as fast as the more expensive services.
1st Class & Tracked 24 services typically arrive 1-2 days after posting.

Due to our remote location there may occasionally be a small delay due to poor weather affecting our transport services.

HOW DO COFFEE SUBSCRIPTIONS WORK?
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries, based on the quantity of bags of coffee you select.

At present we offer two types of subscription: short fixed-term, pre-paid subscriptions & monthly ongoing/recurring subscriptions.

Short fixed-term, pre-paid subscriptions are paid in full at the time of purchase, and do not renew.

For monthly ongoing/recurring subscriptions, your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries.

If you want to cancel, pause, skip a delivery or change your recurring subscription, you can do it at any time. Go to www.hebrideanroast.co.uk and create a customer account (just click the little person icon, up beside the shopping cart) and you can manage your subscription from within there. Alternatively, just drop us an email explaining if you'd like to cancel or amend your subscription, and we'll make the change for you ASAP.

We currently send our subscriptions on the 17th of the month, by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

Subscriptions started on, or before, the 15th of the month, will commence on the 17th of the same month. Subscriptions started from the 16th or later, will commence on the 17th of the following month.
Subscription charges and subscription shipping charges will be reviewed annually but won't be changed without forewarning existing subscription customers.
We reserve the right to cancel subscriptions if necessary. If for some reason, we can't supply you with your chosen coffee at any point, we'll email you to check if you'd like an alternative.
